Living on the Edge

In the Living on the Edge Workshop, children ages 7-10 will delve into the fascinating world of edge-detecting robots. Guided by our expert instructors, participants will learn about the basics of robotics by constructing a working robot crab.  When placed on a tabletop, this robot performs impressive acrobatic tricks, scuttling around and changing direction upon encountering obstacles. This hands-on learning experience is both fun and educational, providing valuable insights into robotics and engineering concepts.

NOTE: Registration for this event is not confirmed until payment is made at checkout.  


Table Top Robot Included

During the workshop, kids will build the KidzRobotix Table Top Robot and then get to take it home. This engaging kit allows young engineers to construct a smart robotic crab that can detect the edges of any platform and make swift turns to avoid falling off. Children will explore the basics of robotics and create a fun, interactive robot that performs impressive acrobatic tricks, making learning about robotics and engineering exciting and accessible.
